Bikers hit the road

DOZENS of bikers will be hitting Northumberland’s roads next week for the annual Easter Run.

The event has been organised by the South East Northumberland Motorcycle Action Group in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance, Princess Ellie’s Trust and the RNLI.

Along the way, bikers will also collect chocolate treats to deliver to hospital wards and children’s homes.

The ride will set off from Woodhorn Museum in Ashington at 10.30am on Easter Saturday, taking in Ellington, Widdrington, Amble, Alnwick, Morpeth, Bedlington and Blyth.
