A MORPETH accountancy group hopes to cash in on connections after joining a national association.
Tait Walker is the first and only representative of the north east to join the MacIntrye Hudson Association (MHA), which aims to help firms expand without losing their individual identities.
The initiative will see independent practices working together to add new expertise to their portfolios, drawing on the specialist skills of other members.
And as the association will be a member of Morison International, a worldwide group of accountancy and legal professionals, practices will also be able to provide services to a global market and target larger clients.
Managing Partner David Arthur said: “The partners at Tait Walker remain firmly committed to operating independently, as do the other members of MHA, whilst working together to enhance client service.
“By working closely with the other members, this will give Tait Walker full national and international coverage and access to additional knowledge and expertise, which will enhance the service we are able to offer our clients.
“Similarly, other members will benefit from the extensive expertise within Tait Walker.
“Additionally, working together as a national association, the members will also be able to provide services to international companies with activities in the UK, or UK companies operating overseas.”
