Clothing firm to open new outlet

Outdoor clothing and equipment retailer Cotswold Outdoor will be

opening a new store tomorrow at Heighley Gate Garden Centre, near Morpeth.

To celebrate the store’s opening, the first 100 customers to spend £50 or more there, will be rewarded with goody bags containing products said to be worth £100-plus.

The official opening will be carried out at noon by the chain’s Chief Executive, Hans Falkenburg, and the Mayor of Morpeth, Alison Byard.

Brands on sale will include North Face, Jack Wolfskin, Rab, Berghaus and

Mountain Equipment.

Store Manager Ian Henderson said: “We’re really excited about welcoming customers to our new store.

“It’s a fantastic location, with an abundance of outdoor clubs and businesses on

our doorstep.

“We’ve already begun to build links with various local organisations and

charities and are looking forward to working with them in the future.

“We aim to provide a resource point for the local outdoor community, sharing our team’s expertise and

experience alongside our product offering and unique services.

“We are delighted that we can celebrate Cotswold Outdoor’s newest store here in Heighley Gate Garden Centre, just

outside Morpeth.”
