Developer is in demand

The developer behind a new Morpeth housing scheme has reported a bumper year of sales.

David Wilson Homes, which together with Tees Valley Housing has permission to build 396 homes at Stobhill, has seen sales of its properties in Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Durham and Sunderland increase by 37 per cent compared to its last financial year.

And it is predicting a 71 per cent growth in revenue across its North East division by June next year.

Sales Director Fenton Hewitt said: “We are delighted with the strong sales results.”
