The winners of this year’s Sanderson Arcade Awards have been revealed.
Successful businesses and individuals received their accolades at an evening ceremony in the Barluga restaurant.
More than 400 people work in the Morpeth shopping centre. The annual event is organised to acknowledge and congratulate those who have stood out over the previous 12 months.
It was sponsored by Cookswell Citroen and hosted by Capital FM’s Matt Bailey. Eight awards were handed out during the ceremony.
Mother and baby store JoJo Maman Bébé once again took the Sanderson Arcade Retailer of the Year title, sponsored by Design Two, which is open to a public vote.
The other winners and highly commended firms and individuals were as follows.
Manager of the Year – sponsored by Inside Morpeth/ThruYorDoor Leaflet Delivery – winner Erin Goose (The Body Shop), highly commended Sally Gowland (Laura Ashley); Young Achiever of the Year – sponsored by WCRS – winner Marcus Amies-Rudd (Marks and Spencer), highly commended Faye Patrick (Fat Face); Customer Service Team of the Year – sponsored by The Flag Man – winner Hobbs, highly commended Clarks; Independent Retailer of the Year – sponsored by Global Radio – winner Pol Kefton Home, highly commended The Pudding Parlour; Community Engagement Award – sponsored by Beach Design – winner Healthlands Ladies Fitness, highly commended Marks and Spencer; Visual Merchandising Award – sponsored by GVFM Property Management – winner Crew Clothing, highly commended Hobbs; Social Media Award – sponsored by Morpeth Chamber of Trade/More in Morpeth – winner The Pudding Parlour.
