Export experts hope to help global trade

Expert advice on exporting will be available to North East businesses.

The North East Chamber of Commerce has secured a five-year contract from UK Trade and Investment to deliver export services in the region.

It aims to build on the area’s excellent exporting performance and help more companies to gain footholds in the global marketplace.

A 23-strong team of International Trade Advisers, including two dedicated experts for medium-sized businesses and a language and culture adviser, are available to help.

In addition, the North East Local Enterprise Partnership has signed an agreement with UK Trade and Investment setting out how the organisations will work together to boost international business trade for the region’s enterprises.
