Garage equipment supplier Gott Technical Services is seeking to celebrate its 35th year in business by recruiting 35 people to be part of a charity campaign.
The Morpeth-based firm is putting together a team of fundraisers to each carry out one charitable act in aid of their own chosen causes.
Those pledging to be one of its charity heroes will have their efforts promoted by Gott’s website and newsletter and via social media.
Company director Ian Gott said: “Being in business for 35 years has exceeded our expectations, and we thought what better way to celebrate than by giving something back.
“We are going full throttle to raise as much money as possible for numerous charities.
“Whether people want to enter as a group or individually we’re looking for committed members of the motor industry or simply friends of our business who are keen to raise funds for a good cause. So if you think you have what it takes, please get in touch.”
The second-generation family business has seen steady growth over the years, and it puts that down to focusing on its servicing and breakdown response division during the recession.
The past few years have witnessed the Coopies Lane firm move up a gear and expand into the Scottish and Cumbrian marketplaces.
Mr Gott added: “We have a number of exciting new projects on the horizon, including involvement with emerging low-emission and electric-vehicle technology, so our 35th year could be our biggest yet.”
