Guests go wild about old West

More than 100 people turned out for a Wild West-themed fashion show held by Morpeth’s Kathryn S Trueman bridal shop to unveil its 2016 collection.

Among the dresses on show at the Bridge Street shop were new ones from Claire Pettibone’s Romantique collection, influenced by the Wild West.

“As the name of the collection suggests, they are incredibly romantic, and they are also quite different from anything else that’s around at the moment,” said Ms Trueman.

“There is quite a strong South American Spanish influence and more than a hint of saloon girl, with lots of lace — perfect for a bride looking for something special.

“The event was a great success, and all our guests were very excited about the new collection.

“It was a great night.”

Other designers featured on the catwalk included David Fielden, House of Mooski, Nicole Spose, YolanCris and Badgley Mischka.
