A FREE workshop is being held in Northumberland to help businesses secure public sector contracts.
The interactive course is being organised by Northumberland County Council’s Procurement Centre, Business to Business and Tedco.
In the morning it will focus on sub-contracting, stemming from public sector opportunities, while the afternoon session will provide practical tools to help businesses build relationships with others.
The workshop has been designed and will be delivered by Garry Stone and is suitable for both new and established businesses.
Mr Stone said: “Many Northumberland businesses feel that they are too small to tender for public sector contracts, but by working with other businesses, either as sub-contractors or as partners in a consortia bid, they can develop a platform to enable them to take their business to the next level.
“This workshop will help businesses to generate realistic and practical ideas and new approaches.”
It will be held at Longhirst Hall on Tuesday. For more information or to book a place call 01670 842884.
