A NORTH East children’s clothing label is looking for local models to show off its new collection.
Candy Queen Store provides clothing for girls aged three to ten years, with customised t-shirts and unique icons that attach to the garments to make them individual.
The brand is currently on sale at a number of stores, including Snows of Morpeth, and recently made its mark in Ponteland as it joined in The Big Chocolate Tea Party to help raise funds for The Sick Children’s Trust.
The label donated t-shirts for the Easter Egg Hunt and the raffle.
Founder Mel Buchanan, of Whitley Bay, said: “I am a mum of two and I can’t imagine how hard it would be if I couldn’t be with my children if they were sick in hospital so I was happy to get involved with The Sick Children’s Trust and I loved the atmosphere at the event. Everyone had such a great time enjoying the tasty cakes and games.”
The event, including face painting, cake sales and children’s activities, raised £605 for the trust.
Candy Queen is seeking three girls, aged seven or eight, to model its new collection for a one-day photo shoot later this month.
Parents should send headshots of their children to firstname.lastname@example.org by Tuesday, May 15.
