A young woman is hoping to make her mark after opening a beauty business in Morpeth.
Plush Beauty Rooms is run by Rebecca Scott, who is delighted with the feedback that she has received from customers since it opened last month.
The 21-year-old has been working in salons since the age of 15 to build up qualifications. Her salon is located in Castle Square above the Image at Concepts hairdressers.
Her business provides a range of services including facials, massages, tinting, waxing, acrylic nails, spray tanning, CND Shellac and eyelash treatments.
“Opening my own salon is something I’ve always wanted to do and a few months ago, I decided that it was the right time to go ahead with it,” said Rebecca.
“Morpeth was my preferred location and when I saw that this place was available, I was keen to have a look around. Once I did, it didn’t take long for me to say yes as it’s ideal for my business.
“You can get a couple of things done or lots of treatments during an appointment.
“The first week was a bit quiet, but ever since I have been really busy and my customers so far seem pleased with the services as I’ve had plenty of re-bookings and received quite a few positive comments.”
Plush Beauty Rooms is now selling the full range of Decleor skincare products.
