TRADERS will be teeing off tomorrow for an annual fund-raiser.
The Morpeth and District Chamber of Trade Golf Day will this year see at least 30 teams battling it out on the greens.
The event, at Morpeth Golf Club, is one of the business group’s main fund-raisers of the year. Money raised will be re-invested in the town, helping to pay for initiatives such as the Christmas lights.
Organiser Geoff Proudlock said the planning has been going well and the event should make at least £3,000.
“It is all in hand and it will work, we just need to keep our fingers crossed for a nice day,” he said.
