A budding solicitor has set the bar high to earn a top training contract.
Caitlin Scott has beaten off fierce competition from fellow law students to secure a role at Carr and Co.
She will be working as a trainee solicitor in the firm’s Morpeth office, covering a range of areas from personal injury to employment law.
Ms Scott is starting the final two years of training to become a fully-qualified solicitor after previously completing a law degree at Northumbria University. She has also worked in personal injury claims for industrial disease at True solicitors.
And now she is embarking on the next step in making her dreams of a legal career a reality.
“I’m thrilled at the opportunity to join the team at Carr and Co,” she said.
“I’m excited to build on my experience and gain expertise at a firm with such an excellent reputation.”
Senior Director Sharon Smith said: “Securing a training contract is a huge achievement and everyone at Carr and Co Solicitors is delighted to welcome Caitlin to the post of trainee solicitor.
“Caitlin is making an immediate impression and her approachable manner is already earning her well-deserved praise from our clients.”
The firm is celebrating after recently being awarded the Law Society’s Lexcel quality accreditation for the ninth year in succession, which ranks the solicitors among the top law firms in the country.
