Longhorsley St Helens First School pupils enjoyed a surprise visit from Pudsey Bear.

Prior to BBC Children in Need Day last Friday, the pupils had a surprise visit from Pudsey Bear himself. He arrived to hear of all the different things they would be doing to raise money.

On the day itself, the children wore some wonderful spotty costumes and enjoyed a morning of crafts – the activities included bear ears, spotty chocolate crispies, Pudsey pointillism and superhero Children in Need masks.

In the afternoon, the second-hand toys that they had all brought in were donated to a toy sale. A total of £209 was raised.
