KIRKLEY Hall’s Countryside Christmas Fair is back by popular demand on Sunday following a two-year break.

The event, which attracts thousands of people from all over the region, will once again contain a host of attractions to entertain all members of the family.

In addition to the new tourist attraction Kirkley Hall Zoological Gardens — where members of the public can see a range of animals from all over the world — there will be live entertainment, a coconut shy and a hog roast.

Especially for children there will be a Santa’s Grotto, face painting and fairground rides.

There will also be more than 90 stalls offering a varied range of hand-made gifts, authentic crafts and tasty food from around the region.

Gates will be open from 10am to 4pm. Entry costs £7 per car, which includes entry to Kirkley Hall Zoological Gardens.
