A CLOSET clear-out could be the order of the day as the British Heart Foundation gears up for its National Donate Day.
The charity is inviting people to dig out their unwanted items for the annual shop stock appeal, which aims to bring in a whopping 600,000 bags of goodies.
Good quality clothing, shoes, accessories, CDs, DVDs, books, toys and bric-a-brac would all be welcome, along with unwanted toasters, kettles, Hi-Fis and other electrical equipment. The charity will even accept old sofas or wardrobes.
National Donate Day takes place on Saturday, September 3. Visit www.bhf.org.uk/bigdonation or call into the Morpeth shop in Bridge Street.
