We are always grateful for the support of the people of Morpeth and the surrounding areas as this will greatly assist us to cover the costs of our Christmas commitments when we try to help less fortunate people and families living locally.

These start with our Meet The Lions event, which this year will take place at the Riverside Lodge on Sunday, November 26, when we look forward to welcoming almost 200 elderly or disabled residents of Morpeth for afternoon tea, entertainment and an early Christmas present.

Next there is the provision of Christmas presents for children who would otherwise receive very little.

Finally, we provide funds to Wansbeck Food Bank to make up food parcels for needy individuals and families in the district.

I shall be grateful if you will kindly print this letter of thanks to everyone who supports our voluntary service efforts.
