Police in the Scottish Borders are appealing for assistance in tracing a woman from the Melrose area who may have travelled to Northumberland.
Naomi Fawcett, 37, was last seen at Borders General Hospital on Monday, at around 1.30pm.
Police are concerned for her welfare and are appealing for any information as to her whereabouts.
Naomi is white, 5ft 8in tall, of slim build, with mid-length dark brown or black hair, dark eyes, and has a small scratch on her cheek.
She was last seen wearing a cream coloured top with a flowery border, and black trousers.
Inspector Bryan Burns said: “We are getting more concerned for the whereabouts of Naomi as time passes and would urge anyone who believes they may have seen her to get in touch with police immediately.
“One aspect of our enquiry is that she may have travelled to the Northumbria region.”
Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
