Caution urged

FARMERS are being reminded to keep their vehicles out of reach of thieves.

Police have advised that tractors, quads and plant equipment should be stored as securely as possible when not in use, ensuring keys are kept well away and out of sight.

Farmers are also being warned to avoid leaving their keys in their vehicles while they are working, even if they are left unattended only briefly.

People should also lock and secure their doors and windows.
