Man charged over ‘Little Elvis’ death

A MAN has been charged in connection with the death of Morpeth’s ‘Little Elvis’.

Michael Marshall, 52, who was known by the nickname for his love of karaoke, died on August 23 within hours of an altercation at Morpeth’s Sanderson Arcade.

Now 50-year-old Anthony Marshall, of Broome Road, Carrville, Durham, who is believed to be the victim’s brother, has been charged with manslaughter.

He will appear before South East Northumberland Magistrates Court in Bedlington on Monday, December 19.
