Police launch investigation after the body of a 32-year-old woman found at Northumberland house

Northumbria Police have confirmed an investigation is underway after the body of a 32-year-old woman has been found at an address in Twentieth Avenue in Blyth on Saturday, June 27.
Officers are hoping to establish the circumstances which surround her death – the cause of which is not known at this time.

Hide AdNorth East Ambulance Service paramedics were called to the street in the Northumberland town this morning (Saturday, June 27) where they then made the discovery.
At around 11.25am, the police were alerted after receiving reports from the North East Ambulance Service that a woman’s body had been found at the address.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police commented on the incident, saying: “At 11.25am today (Saturday) police received a report from the ambulance service that a 32-year-old woman had been found deceased at an address on Twentieth Avenue in Blyth.
“Emergency services attended and confirmed that the woman was deceased.

“We cannot provide any further details on the matter due to patient confidentially.”
It is understood that the emergency services have contacted the woman’s family to inform them of her sad death.
