BURGLARS made off with around £750 of equestrian kit after breaking into stables.
The theft took place at a secluded stable block at Shadfen Farm near Morpeth, between 7pm on Thursday, October 6 and 9am the following day.
The offenders removed the metal clasp from the chain securing the stable to gain access.
They got away with various items, including three horse rugs, one of which was a blue checked Rhino rug worth £150, as well as 14 horse head collars worth £100, a red horse tackle box and two green plastic feed buckets.
