Tools taken from empty house

TOOLS and building equipment have been stolen from an empty house being renovated in Longhorsley.

Thieves broke in to the building between 5pm on Monday and 7.45am on Tuesday, then made off with a number of items including a diesel space heater, a Hilti breaker, a Titan 240v bench saw, a green Makita cordless drill and an amount of copper piping.

Police believe they had access to a vehicle.
