CYCLISTS can put their endurance to the test in a five-day London to Paris ride.
The event has been organised by charity Children Today to raise funds for its support of disabled children.
The route starts from Blackheath and heads south to take the ferry to Calais. Participants will then cycle through the French countryside to reach their final destination, the iconic Eiffel Tower.
The trip runs from May 9 to 13 next year and those taking part must raise a minimum sponsorship of £1,400, as well as pay a £99 registration fee.
Money raised from the challenge will be used to give grants for specialist equipment, such as individually adapted wheelchairs, walking aids, educational toys, adapted car seats, lifting equipment and a range of communication aids.
Children Today aims to spend funds in the areas in which they are raised.
