There was plenty of festive fun at Heighley Gate Nursery and Garden Centre, near Morpeth, when it hosted Henry Dancer Days.

A raffle for a huge chocolate robin, a big tombola and a general merchandise stall helped to raise £500 for the children’s cancer charity, which is being very well supported by local residents and visitors to the area.

Members of the Mid Northumberland Chorus donned their brightest Christmas jumpers and heartily sang seasonal carols in the morning.

In the afternoon, 20 musicians from a local music school played numerous instruments such as the keyboard and violin to entertain shoppers.
