DEVELOPMENT: Council should be more in tune
This is a follow-up to my previous letter about development on greenfield sites, (Morpeth Herald, August 30).
I have had a meeting with my local Conservative councillor John Beynon, who told me that development of the derelict sites I mentioned is in hand.
But, of course, that doesn’t address the problem of the contested development of yet more new-build at Pottery Bank.
The county council is now Conservative-led and should be more in tune with what local people see as being best for the town.
