Displays to mark animal war effort

An event to pay tribute to the animals involved in the First World War, as well as the soldiers, is taking place on Sunday at the Blue Sky Equestrian Centre near Linton.

There will be a show from equestrian display troupe Les Amis d’Onno, and dogs, mules, donkeys and pigeons will also be brought along. In addition, you can enjoy music and poetry readings.

Entry to the event, which starts at 4pm, is £5 for adults. Children free.
