Don’t rest the kettles just yet

THE World’s Biggest Coffee Morning may have been and gone, but it’s not quite time to give the kettles a rest.

Epilepsy Action will hold its National Tea Break on Friday, October 21 to help raise funds for its vital information and advice services.

People are urged to get together for tea and cake and organisers of local events will receive a guide full of fund-raising tips, posters, invitation cards and celebrity recipes. Materials can also be found at the charity’s website.

And if the day of the national event is not convenient, people can organise their tea parties at a different time to suit.

Last year Epilepsy Action directly helped more than 845,000 people through a range of services, including branch networks, specialist nurses, website advice and its helpline on 0808 800 5050.

For more information about the tea event or to register for an organiser’s pack visit or call 0113 210 8800.
