Tenor James Gilchrist and pianist Anna Tilbrook will play at Morpeth Methodist Church on Thursday, January 14, at 7,30pm.
Gilchrist, 49, is a world-class tenor accompanied for many years by Anna Tilbrook. They have made an award-winning disc of the Franz Schubert song cycle Die Schone Mullerin, German for the beautiful maid of the mill, and they will be performing it in Morpeth, as well as the George Butterworth arrangement of some of Alfred Edward Houseman’s A Shropshire Lad.
Entrance is free for under-18s and £14 for adults. Tickets can be bought from Morpeth’s tourist information office, by calling 01670 513369 or on the door.
