Charity ball is a success

Six kind-hearted Morpeth students have raised hundreds of pounds for the Alzheimer’s Society.

King Edward VI School sixth-formers Abigail Neilly, Alex Nicklen, Alice Wade, Beth Laidler, Lauren Spence and Sarah Thompson organised a charity ball as part of their business studies course. The event at Linden Hall attracted 115 people and raised £600.

Community Fund-raiser Rebecca Scott said: “We are extremely grateful to the King Edward VI School students.”
