Pupils put together their own pieces

STUDENTS from the schools that make up Morpeth’s academy came together to discuss ideas and future projects with each other and the public.

The town hall hosted a pupil-led ‘Top of the Class’ conference, organised by King Edward VI School Student Voice Ambassadors Robbie Morgan and Dominic James and Deputy Head Girl Rebecca Cowell, with representatives from years five to 13.

Those involved talked about what makes an outstanding lesson and plans for new initiatives from September – the ‘KEVI 10’ and the ‘Jigsaw’ at Chantry and Newminster Middle Schools and Technology Colleges. It was open to local residents for one hour so students could discuss their work with them.
