NORTHUMBERLAND residents can win a prize for their local authority by nominating recycling teams for their ‘can do’ attitude.
This is the first time the free-to-enter awards run by the British Aerosols Manufacturers’ Association (BAMA) are open to householders to nominate their county or city council.
The national search is on for the best recycling campaign that includes empty aerosols.
Each winning authority will receive a trophy and certificate and the victorious recycling department will receive a £1,000 customised graphic display for a vehicle from sponsor Epic Media Group.
Second and third places will receive a £750 voucher and a £500 voucher respectively to spend with Epic Media Group on display panels for a vehicle.
