THE Environment Agency is seeking students with bright ideas on how to tackle water pollution.
A competition has been launched for full-time students in the region to think of solutions for combating water pollution caused by heavy rainfall, known as diffuse pollution.
Successful candidates will get the chance to work with the agency to transform their vision into real projects.
Ideas can be based around a scientific or engineering solution, or behavioural or social engagement schemes.
The Pollution Challenge has been organised in partnership with the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management. Judges will be looking for innovative ideas that are also realistic.
