Equestrian centre hosts pony club

MEMBERS of the Morpeth Hunt Pony Club were recently able to enjoy two great days of activities at the Pegasus Centre in Tranwell.

“We were contacted by the Pony Club and asked if they could use our facilities for some of their events,” said Martin Peagam, Centre Manager. “We were delighted to oblige.”

Riders took part in competitive events, had a chance to learn new skills and generally enjoyed themselves at the events, which attracted some 50 participants.

Michelle Macauley of the Morpeth Hunt Pony Club said: “We have been made most welcome by the Pegasus Centre and our members have had a great time.”

The centre provides horse riding opportunities for disabled and able-bodied people. For more information about its activities, telephone 01670 518219.
