Various treats will be available to raise money for a good cause at Morpeth Town Hall on Saturday.
A fair is being held in the Corn Exchange and the town’s branch of Morrisons is helping out by supplying all the drinks.
Crafts, gifts and vintage items such as jewellery, glass and china pieces and hand-made cushions and flowers can be purchased. All the proceeds from the event will go to the Great North Air Ambulance.
Organiser Jill Hartill, who works at Rutherfords in Bridge Street, said: “It was initially an idea in the back of my mind, but once I mentioned it things snowballed quickly and all of a sudden, it’s happening this weekend.
“Some of the girls at Rutherfords have agreed to bake cakes and hopefully there will be a good attendance on Saturday.”
The fair will run between 10am and 4pm.
