A big lunch and family fun day will take place in Stobhill this weekend.
After success last year with its inaugural event, Stobhill Community Forum will be holding the event again on the field behind the Barnabas Centre on Sunday from 11am to 4pm
There will be live music from local bands including Street Legal Music.
Kids activities will also be on offer – with most for free – including three big inflatables, archery, circus skills, arts and crafts, dance demonstrations a petting zoo and lots more.
Local organisations such as St Aiden’s Church, Rainbows, Sure Start and the Cuppa Club will be on hand giving their support for free and Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service will also be there with its fire engine.
A Squeezy Rider smoothie bike will be available for people to make their own smoothies alongside numerous other activities.
Lots of local businesses have helped with donations of really generous prizes and things to give away, from vouchers for MOTs to family tickets to Kielder Observatory and Go Ape and the Community Police team has donated vouchers for T&G Allans.
There will also be a host of stalls with local produce and crafts on offer.
All are welcome. Entry to the event is £1, and there is £1 charge for lunch.
