FAMILY fun is now on the menu at a Ponteland restaurant.
Italian restaurant Fratelli at Pontleand will present a programme of magic, face painting and balloon modelling as a special side dish to Sunday lunch.
The free entertainment, which has been organised by North East magician Matthew J Dowden, will be offered every week, from 1pm to 3pm.
Restaurant owner Paul Bernardelli said: “Family lunches are a great tradition in Italy, but something which has faded in the UK in recent years thanks to increasingly busy schedules and the constant distraction of things like computers and mobile phones.”
He added: “This new entertainment programme at Fratelli has been designed to help families make the most of their quality time together and make Sunday lunch more of a memorable experience for all ages.”
This Sunday the eatery will welcome Magic Andrew, who specialises in face painting and balloon modelling.
