The last in a series of courses about the subject of mindfulness starts on Saturday.
Part of the Confident Communities project funded through Isos Housing’s Community Fund, it is free to Morpeth and Pegswood residents.
It introduces mindfulness techniques to anyone who wants to reduce stress, feel more relaxed and increase calmness in their life.
Course tutor Pauline Fraser said: “Mindfulness has been shown to improve memory, increase problem-solving, reduce anger, increase creativity and boost happiness.
“It is increasingly practised to help alleviate pain and help with mental well-being.”
The course will run on Saturday, March 4, 11 and 18, between 10am and noon at Morpeth Methodist Church, Howard Terrace. For more information and to reserve a place, call 07956 878130 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
