Free workshops to boost local growth
Business Northumberland has appointed a team of specialist trainers to deliver free workshops and masterclasses across the county.
The sessions are designed to offer practical advice and support to help develop and grow local businesses, with experienced trainers covering such topics as finance, digital marketing, social media, expansion and staff development.
Enterprise Made Simple, supported by Hypestar and Sparkle Communications, will focus on social media and websites, while Pat Beaumont, of Beaumont Associates, will offer help on employment and training, as well as advice to improve leadership and management skills.
And Ian Sawin, of IS Business and Finance, will give an introduction to business planning and how to secure finance, as well as ensure businesses are equipped to effectively manage their finances and cash flow.
Arch Chairman Dave Ledger said: “The main objective of the Business Northumberland programme is to help businesses across Northumberland grow and prosper.
“Whether a business is new, facing challenges, looking to grow, or even looking to locate into Northumberland, the Business Northumberland programme can offer valuable advice and support.”
The first session, Introduction to Business Northumberland, takes place on Monday, February 27, at Wansbeck Workspace in Ashington, from 9.30am to 12.30pm. The same course will be delivered at Berwick Workspace on March 10, and Hexham Enterprise Hubs on March 13.
