Fund-raising can be fun

GHOULISH games and brilliant bonfires could be turned into a fantastic fund-raising experience.

Guide Dogs is running a Get Together campaign for its 80th anniversary, encouraging people to have fun with colleagues, friends and family while raising money for its work.

And the charity says Hallowe’en and Guy Fawkes Night could provide the perfect opportunities.

People could organise a fundraising party, charge for apple bobbing, sell treacle scones or collect pennies for the guy to help the fund.

Invitations, posters, collection boxes, name a puppy scratch cards, information leaflets and even a Guide Dogs speaker can all be arranged to support the events.
