General Election candidates confirmed for Northumberland constituencies

The full list of candidates bidding to become MPs in the UK Parliament has been released after the deadline for nominations closed yesterday.

Those on the ballot papers on General Election day (Thursday, May 7) include the following.

Berwick-upon-Tweed constituency: Nigel Coghill-Marshall (UKIP); Scott Dickinson (Labour); Neil Humphrey (English Democrats); Julie Pörksen (Liberal Democrat); Rachael Roberts (Green Party); Anne-Marie Trevelyan (Conservative).

Hexham constituency: Liam Carr (Labour); David Nicholson (UKIP); Guy Opperman (Conservative); Jeff Reid (Liberal Democrat); Lee Williscroft-Ferris (Green Party).

Wansbeck constituency: Chris Galley (Conservative); Tom Hancock (Liberal Democrat); Chris Hedley (Green Party); Melanie Hurst (UKIP); Ian Lavery (Labour).
