Green-fingered cadets offer helping hand
Amble and Broomhill Army Cadets (3 Platoon of W Company) tidied the garden and quiet area of Dolphin View, on Harbour Road.
The cadets carried out weeding, digging and grass cutting. They then returned to plant some colourful blooms, donated by Amble Community Team (ACT).

As part of their progression through the star and rank system, Army cadets undertake voluntary duties within the community.
All of those who helped at the home enjoyed their time and learnt new skills.
To learn more about the cadets, visit the Amble Detachment, on Scott Street, on a Tuesday or Thursday, or Broomhill Detachment, on Church Avenue, on a Monday or Thursday, either as a cadet (12-18) or an adult instructor 18+.
