North East health bosses have urged people to visit their pharmacist if feeling under the weather over the festive period.
NHS England Medical Director for Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear Dr Mike Prentice said: “Your local pharmacy can help you with more than you might think. Pharmacists offer expert, confidential advice and treatment for many minor health problems.”
