Volunteer plea for charity panel

PEOPLE with hearing loss in Northumberland have been invited to join a new charity research panel.

Action on Hearing Loss, formerly RNID, is looking for volunteers who are deaf, have hearing loss or suffer from tinnitus to take part in the group.

Panellists will have opportunities to take part in research projects by completing short surveys, giving one-to-one interviews or joining focus groups, and the evidence they provide will inform the charity’s policy, services and campaigning work.

Director of Research, Policy and Government Relations Roger Wicks said: “We’d be grateful if Morpeth residents would get involved in our panel, which will be a great opportunity to highlight vital everyday issues and help shape our future work improving the lives of people who are deaf or have hearing loss or tinnitus.”
