Historian explains Bedlington’s world fame

A Northumberland town is the focus of the talk at the next meeting of Ponteland Civic Society.

Historian and archaeologist Barry Mead has given it the following title: ‘Bedlington Remembered’ – why Bedlington is world famous!

The meeting will take place on Monday in St Mary’s Church Hall, Thornhill Road, from 7.30pm. The talk will be followed by tea and biscuits and an opportunity for discussion.

Guests are welcome for the nominal charge of £2.
