The President of the League Against Cruel Sports tells us that 84 per cent of people in England and Wales want fox hunting to remain illegal, (Morpeth Herald, May 18).
It would be interesting to learn the source of that information. Possibly those 84 per cent includes the writer, who has no desire to hunt foxes, hares or deer.
Would a proportion deprive their fellow countrymen and women the freedom to choose to hunt or not?
Repealing the Act would help us all to live and let live.
