Latest applications for planning permission

THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Acklington: Rev Robert Parker, Guyzance Hall, Guyzance, listed building consent, conversion of lounge and kitchen area to bedroom with disabled en-suite, conversion of existing three bedrooms and bathroom to two bedrooms with en-suites; Mr and Mrs J Coombes, Brainshaugh House, Brainshaugh, conversion of outbuilding forming garage for domestic use, erection of orangery to main house within walled garden, built on boundary line of existing paved patio area; Mr David Charlton, 1 Guyzance Bridge, alterations and extension to existing property, including improving energy performance.

East Chevington: Mr Sean Callaghan, HMP Castington Acklington, variation of condition 2 to substitute proposed site plan L(00)101 with CSA-000-A-09-001.

Ellington and Linton: Dr Doug Belshaw, 12 Wych Elm Close, Ellington, remove raised patio in part and construct ancillary workspace, shed, utilising the existing masonry substructure, adapt existing raised timber decking area and create new timber stair to access workspace, rebuild existing wall to decking.

Hebron: The Garden Centre Group, Heighley Gate Garden Centre, retrospective, construction of a fruit and vegetable stall.

Heddon On The Wall: Mr Neil Graham, Stable Cottage, Hexham Road, proposed double storey extension to rear.

Hepscott: Ms J Kelly, 1 Thornlea, construction of single storey rear extension.

Longhirst: Northern Powergrid, land north of Straker Terrace, Longhirst Colliery, replacement of overhead line with single aerial bunch conductors.

Longhorsley: Mr and Mrs M Ingram, land north of Norlands, North Road, construction of three stables and store with vehicle hardstanding and turning area.

Matfen: Mr and Mrs Paul Naughton, The Annexe, South Fens Farm, extension to dwelling, already with approval for conversion from holiday let.

Meldon: Mr Ken Bell, land south west of Hazel Cottage, West Throphill Farm, Throphill, steel portal framed stock building measuring 30.5m long x 15.25m wide x 4.41m average height to eaves, connecting into existing Farmplan building.

Mitford: Mr and Mrs Mark Anderson, Woodlands, Tranwell Woods, single storey side extension to create new dedicated plant room.

Morpeth: Dr Henry Woodford, Lansdown House, 90 Newgate Street, corrective work to repair rising damp by use of a chemical damp proof course and salt-resistant plaster, repair cracked/damaged concrete floor in small area at back of kitchen and replace broken and leaking back door with similar wood and small glass panel door, also to provide appropriate lintel.

Ponteland: Mrs Sarah McNulty, 70 Errington Road, demolition of existing property and replacement with new family home; Ms Helen Watters, 3 Higham Dykes, Milbourne, construction of ground floor kitchen and breakfasting room extension, with first floor bedroom and en-suite; Mr Gurdeep Singh Gill, land east of 40 Meadow Court, Darras Hall, construction of a five bed dwelling house; Mr John Harris, 92 Runnymede Road, construction of a two storey extension; Mr Ian Grange, 12 The Wynde, erection of one-and-a-half storey porch extension to front of property, new window configuration to dormer roof and new roof covering; Mrs Angela Priestly, 44 Dunsgreen, first floor extension over garage porch and internal alterations; Mr Birkett, 53 Darras Road, Darras Hall, proposed conservatory to rear.

Stamfordham: Mr Simon Halbert, Dalton House, Dalton, listed building consent for demolition of lean-to timber outbuildings and replacement with slate-roofed and timber-clad guest annexe facing into walled garden, but accesses from the existing parking area; Mr Michael Neil, Bank House, 23 North Side, listed building consent for construction of a garden studio/shed, single storey extension to rear and hard landscaping to rear.

Ulgham: Mrs A Hartop, land east of Lynebank, outline application for one new dwelling.

Whalton: Mr Adrian Butler, land at Tranwell Airfield, Tranwell Woods, erection of four wind turbine generators with a tip height of up to 126.5m and ancillary infrastructure.
