The interval arrived with the score at 1-1 but the Colliers should have regained the advantage shortly after the restart when C Graham shot wide from a good ball into the box.
Shilbottle eventually regained the lead on the hour in somewhat fortunate circumstances when a scuffed shot by Jake Lowes evaded the Lindisfarne ‘keeper to roll into the net.
Josh Hay then put a header wide, Liam Books had a good effort well saved by the Lindisfarne ‘keeper as the Colliers looked to increase their advantage but they had to settle for a narrow victory at the end.
