THE branch will be hosting a special meeting in Morpeth on Wednesday as the guest speaker is Dr Martin Duddy, a neurologist at the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) in Newcastle.
He will be talking about the latest treatments and management of this illness and answering general questions towards the end of the meeting. The doors at St James’ Community Centre, Wellway, will be open at 7pm and the event will start at 7.30pm.
It is free to attend and refreshments will be served. Sufferers, as well as their friends and family, are welcome to come along.
The MS Society exists to enable those who suffer from MS to live as independent a life as possible, take part in research and be a voice for those who have the illness. There is a designated, confidential helpline for the South East Northumberland area – 01670 858939.
