Newcastle Airport has launched its official mobile app to help offer the best possible passenger experience.
NCL Airport, which is free to download in the Apple and Google Play stores, will allow customers to book car parking, lounge access and Security Fast Track, receive real-time flight updates and alerts, book flights, access pre-travel information and advice, and check the weather.
The app also contains offers and discounts for the catering outlets and shops within the airport.

He added: “At Newcastle Airport, we pride ourselves on offering an award-winning customer experience and we’re working hard on ensuring we can further enhance our passengers’ journeys through the use of technology and the latest innovations.
“The first phase of this app is really all about helping our passengers to fully prepare for their flights, with bookings, flight and travel information housed in one place and real-time updates and alerts sent directly to their phones.
“Moving forward, we are already working on the second phase of the app and are looking at ways in which we can ensure the app grows, incorporating more features and services that will further enhance the passenger experience for the five million plus people who travel through your airport every year.”
